Human stories are the base of this event, in which we thematically present the best short films from all over the world. The choice of films, stories and engaging the audience by the presenter are balanced in a way to attract their attention and curiosity from the start till the end. Besides, the very edges of human abilities, to which we're brought by some of the films, lead to adrenaline rush. It's an event for dare-devils.

Every event revolves around a certain topic: mountains, Antarctica, jungels, deserts, oceans, space, etc. The films are carefully chosen and arranged by an editor, so a rich and emotionally balanced experience is achieved. We've developed our ways of understanding our audience and its taste.

    Pictures from places or people from around the world are shown on the screen. The first to identify them, wins a prize. The game ends with the end of prizes.

  • THE BIG GAME

    We project a short film from an anonimous country. The one who guesses its name wins the big prize and the right to decide which country will appear in the same game during the next event.

OUR GUESTS ARE IMPORTANT

When we repeat an event we invite a special guest, an expert in a field, connected to the topic of the event. They can be people who have traveled the most remote areas of our planet, scientists who study the universe and artists/urban explorers. Their participation enriches the experience of our guests, who often ask questions and sometimes even continue the discussion after the end of the event. Thus, except for entertaining, the event has also a networking function. As a sign of appreciation, all our guests recieve a gift from us and our partners.

We not only examine our audience's preferences, so we can show them the best documentaries; give prizes to the fastest, most knowledgeable and quick-witted amongst them; but we also engage them in an informal discussion. This is when everyone has the opportunity to express their opinions and ideas, triggered by the films; to get to know different points of view, agree or argue with them, but, in any case, to meet people from different background, but with similar interests. Thus we diversify our events and we engage our audience even more.

This event is one of a kind on the Bulgarian market and corresponds to a specific type of need that active and seeking people have - to learn and experience new things. So the challenge is not only to show a few films, but also create authentic feeling for our audience - that they're attending something unique, created especially for them.

WHY IS THE LOCATION IMPORTANT?

It was not accidental that we chose "Traveler's club” to be our main partner for this project. The space it offers is comfy and conceptually suits "Short Films with Stories”. It doesn't have the strictness and restricting character of a cinema, which makes it conductive to games and discussion much more. The opportunity of talking about art, geography, history and science while having a glass of beer or cup of tea, creates the friendly atmosphere we aim for and excellently corresponds to the networking function of the event.

Since its creation, "Short Films with Stories” doesn't stop developing and searching for different ways of reaching greater audience.
